Love was in the air last Friday at The Smell in Los Angeles, where L.A. Witch opened for Cherry Glazerr. LA Weekly joined the moshing crowd and this is what they had to say:
“With their all-black ensembles, heavy hooks, and haunting, reverb drenched riffs, the trio put a spell on the audience. Their set switched between fast and slow-paced songs, which made the a crowd unsure if it was cool to mosh or not. Young lovers locked lips (and braces), while being bumped by those pushing around the pit.”
Chris Brown has set an official release date of May 5, 2014 for his new album “X”. Among notable collaborators like Nicki Minaj, Timbaland, and Diplo BAM, is our very own producer, C.P DUBB. We are very excited for C.P DUBB’s track and the album alike; According to Brown himself, “‘X’ is by far my best album yet”.

NYLON Magazine has announced it has a new crush and it is our girl Rainy Milo! Seeing as Rainy is only 18-years-old, NYLON was interested in her musical and artistic influences. NYLON had the special chance to chat with Rainy about the importance of Tumblr in her evolution of artistic expression. In the article they state:
“Since she was practically a kid the London-based singer and songwriter used Tumblr to showcase her ideas, images, and gifs to others. Instead of the music being the pathway to the internet, it was actually the other way around. ”

Amazon released their February list of ‘New and Emerging Artists’ today and Rainy Milo is on it! Amazon UK included Rainy as one of the new and emerging artists of 2014, saying that:

Rainy Milo’s song “Rats” (produced by Caswell and Daje) played for thousands of Vampire Academyfans during the film’s opening weekend. Friday, February 7 marked the opening day for Mark Water’s new film, Vampire Academy, a film adaptation of the popular young adult book series by Richelle Mead. More exciting than the film release is the big news that Rainy Milo’s song is featured in the film and on the official motion-picture soundtrack! “Rats” is amongst other sassy-pop songs by Katy Perry, CHVRCHES, and Iggy Azalea.

Linda Perry’s The Art of Elysium “Heaven” Gala was one of the elite Los Angeles events to be featured in L.A. Times IMAGE this week! The event raised funds for The Art of Elysium organization, which brings the arts to hospitalized children and was designed by Linda Perry to represent her vision of heaven.
